About Me

What you see in the 'About Me' on the sidebar is just but a taste of me.

I was born in the early 1980s, and I spent a good chunk of my life in Southern California, growing up in the suburbs of San Diego.  I love the beach, especially the Pacific.  I grew up in a family-oriented house, but it suffocated me, so I kind of shun that aspect of life now.

I also lived in New Hampshire for eight years, from the time I was 17 until I was 25.  And while the weather, people, and lifestyles were very eye-opening for me, I grew to love it there.  How can you not, with the leaves changing in the autumn and snow falling at Christmas?  It broke my heart very much to move from there, in the fall of all seasons, but life choices I'd made left me no choice.

I currently live in Northern California, about 30 miles from San Francisco.  I love history, and my knowledge of California's history shows how closely I paid attention in the fourth grade when we learned about it.  I want to visit Europe; mainly Ireland, Paris, London, and Scotland.

Writing wasn't always my strong suit.  I read a lot as a child and teenager.  My writing really didn't come into focus until 2001, when my Grampy passed away.  He loved to write, and I secretly think he wanted to pen a memoir.  A few of us grandkids got the flair for it after he died.  I wrote quite poignant and depressing poetry in high school, but nothing I wrote ever got good grades in school, that's if I had handed them in.

Anyway, this might be updated in the future.  I am writing this close to midnight, and I am tired.
